My love for pets goes way back to the farm in Northern Minnesota where I was raised. My brothers and I spent much of our time making friends with not only the calves and the cows, but also any stray cat who happened to wander into our yard.

After college in Michigan, where I graduated with a degree in History and Public Service, I moved to Washington, D.C. and spent a year giving tours of the Supreme Court and working as an assistant in a law office. I returned home to Minnesota to pursue graduate studies, but found working with pets and their people much more rewarding and quite a bit less stressful.

I've been a Veterinary Receptionist for five years now and have worked for Dr. Judi since April of '06.

I live in Uptown with my cat, Professor Dean, who enjoys napping on his ottoman and waking me at 5 a.m. for his daily treats. I enjoy taking walks around the lakes, and tormenting my cat by vacuuming and rearranging the living room furniture.
